Sweet, juicy, and a little extra. These Lychee Martini Jelly Shots are soft-set, citrus-kissed, and lightly lifted with BLNCD Levitate. Think cocktail hour, but cuter, cleaner, and perfectly portioned. One bite, one milligram, zero overthinking.
Ingredients
Yield: 10 shots
Potency: ~1 mg THC per shot
Liquids
¾ cup lychee juice
4 oz BLNCD Levitate (10 mg THC total)
¼ cup pear juice (or white grape juice)
½ cup cold water, divided
1½ tbsp fresh lime juice
Sweetener
2 tbsp granulated sugar
Gelatin
1½ tbsp unflavored powdered gelatin
(Firm, clean set for individual shots)
Garnish (optional)
Cocktail cherries or lychee pieces
Instructions
1) Bloom the gelatin
- Add ½ cup cold water to a bowl
- Sprinkle 1½ tbsp gelatin evenly over the surface
- Let bloom 5 minutes until spongy
2) Heat the juice base (NO BLNCD yet)
In a small saucepan, gently heat:
- Lychee juice
- Sugar
- Lime juice
Heat just until the sugar dissolves.
Do not boil.
Remove from heat.
3) Dissolve gelatin
- Whisk bloomed gelatin into warm juice until fully dissolved and smooth
- Let cool 8 to 10 minutes (warm, not hot)
4) Add BLNCD + pear juice
Stir in:
- 4 oz BLNCD Levitate
- ¼ cup pear juice
Optional: strain for extra clarity.
5) Pour into molds
- Pour HALF of the liquid evenly into 10 silicone molds or small cups
- Let cool about 20 minutes until slightly thick
- Add cherries or lychee if using
- Pour remaining liquid over the garnish
6) Chill
- Refrigerate 3 to 4 hours (overnight is best)
- Do not rush this step, full set matters
7) Serve
- Unmold very gently
- Run hot water under the bottom of the mold for about 1 minute for clean release
Each shot ≈ 1 mg THC
Pro Tips
For firmer handling, increase gelatin to 1¾ tbsp next time.
If setting feels slow, chill longer. Citrus slows gelatin.
For extra shine, lightly brush with simple syrup or neutral oil.
