BLNCD Blitzen’s Eggnog with Infused Ice Cubes
Melt the worries of the holiday rush away with our take on this festive classic. The perfect velvety texture, holiday spice, and elevated ice cubes make this beverage a delightful concoction, perfect for bringing to a friend’s holiday potluck or enjoying as you watch the snow fall.
Recipe:
1/2 cup cranberries
1 sprig mint
4 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup heavy cream
1 1/3 cup whole milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp freshly ground ginger
Fuse Cubes:
Fill ice tray 2/3 full. Add one BLNCD Fuse per ice cube, add cranberries and mint. Freeze.
Eggnog Mixture:
Separate egg yolks from egg and add them to a bowl. Add sugar and whisk till smooth.
In a small pot, add heavy cream, whole milk, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla and ginger. Heat on stove to 160 degrees.
Add steamed cream mixture to the egg mixture slowly while whisking. Once smooth, refrigerate overnight.
Serve over Fuse Cubes.
