On a crisp spring night in Minneapolis, we gathered at Marigold to celebrate something special: the exclusive, first-ever tasting of BLNCD’s new THC Spirit—before it launched online. The night was more than a party—it was a full-on experience. One rooted in community, fueled by creativity, and elevated by the plant.

As golden hour faded, guests made their way into the warmly lit space. Marigold (the first na bottle shop in MN) + it’s sister business, Honeycomb Salon opened their doors after hours for the occasion. The room filled quickly, buzzing with energy and curiosity. Within the first hour, the salon-turned-lounge was packed. Live music set the tone early. Chuck Love played smooth, layered saxophone over low-end beats that filled the space. That energy rolled straight into a performance from La Reyna y La Real, whose vibrant vocals and movement turned the lounge into a dance floor. Disco balls spun light across the walls, catching the sparkle of glasses and glitter.

At the bar, Andreas from Jovial Cocktail Co. served a full lineup of THC-infused mocktails built around the new spirit. Each one was thoughtful, balanced, and refreshing—ranging from citrusy and bright to earthy and herbal. The “Flintstoner” welcome shot was a hit: a playful nod to childhood nostalgia with a distinctly grown-up twist.
Tucked into the back lounge, guests could get linked with permanent jewelry by Inna from Golden Boie, while May kept the tattoo machine buzzing all night with flash pieces inspired by mushrooms, hairpins, and cannabis culture. Both stations stayed busy, with people leaving marked—literally—with memories from the night.
Outside, the Puff Patio gave guests a place to step out, light up, and chill under string lights. It balanced the energy inside perfectly—laid-back, open, and full of great conversation.
And because no night is complete without dessert, we had small-batch ice cream on deck from MN Dairy Lab. The creamy scoops hit just right alongside the fresh, effervescent notes of the mocktails.
This night was a soft launch for the new THC spirit—but more than that, it was a celebration of what this community is about: culture, creativity, and real connection. Based on the buzz, it’s safe to say the spirit is already a hit.
Thanks to everyone who came through and helped make the night what it was.
