A frozen, tart cherry margarita-inspired mocktail topped with a luscious vanilla bean cream. Made with BLNCD Levitate, this elevated alcohol-free cocktail is perfect for summer gatherings, content creation, or a relaxing night in!
Ingredients
Frozen Cherry Margarita
- 1½ cups frozen dark cherries
- 2 oz BLNCD Fuse
- 2 oz fresh lime juice
- ½ oz fresh grapefruit juice (or 1 oz yuzu juice)
- 1 oz agave nectar
- ⅛ tsp xanthan gum (optional, for a thicker frozen texture)
- ¾–1 cup crushed or pebble ice
Vanilla Cream Topping
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp agave nectar
- ½ tbsp vanilla bean paste
- Pinch of kosher salt
Raspberry Garnish
- Flaky sea salt
- Fresh lime zest
- Cocktail cherries (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Vanilla Cream
In a medium bowl, combine the heavy cream, Greek yogurt, agave, vanilla bean paste, and salt. Whip until stiff peaks form. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Step 2: Blend the Frozen Margarita
Add the frozen cherries, BLNCD Fuse, lime juice, grapefruit juice (or yuzu), agave, xanthan gum, and ice to a blender. Blend until smooth and thick.
For an extra creamy, frozen texture, place the blended mixture in the freezer for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Step 3: Prepare the Glasses
Run a lime wedge around half of each glass rim and dip into flaky sea salt.
Step 4: Assemble
Divide the frozen cherry mixture between two glasses. Spoon the vanilla cream generously over the top.
Step 5: Garnish
Finish with fresh lime zest, and a light sprinkle of flaky sea salt.
Tips
Freeze your serving glasses for at least 30 minutes before assembling.
Xanthan gum helps create a thicker, bar-quality frozen texture but can be omitted.
Yuzu juice adds a bright citrus complexity, but grapefruit juice is an excellent substitute!
