Currently, lawmakers are considering the bipartisan Lawful Hemp Protection Act—a proposal to replace the ban with a comprehensive federal regulatory framework.
Why it Matters
Banning lawful hemp products doesn’t make demand disappear.
It leaves consumers with fewer regulated choices, puts small businesses and farmers at risk, and shifts products away from regulated markets.
