As the seasons shift, it’s the perfect time to give our self-care routines a little refresh. In this guide we’ll explore some practical ways to nurture ourselves during this transition, blending cozy comforts with smart wellness strategies.
Up-North Retreat
My favorite way to celebrate the change of seasons is by taking a weekend away to soak up the fresh North Shore air. Of course, I like to take my self-care routine up a notch by packing BLNCD’s CBD Topicals. Some of my favorites include:

1. Evening Relaxation Ritual

This combination will always be my go-to sleep remedy. If anyone else struggles to fall asleep at a decent time, I can guarantee you this is worth a shot!
If you’ve heard it before, it’s worth repeating: screen time before bed isn’t ideal for deep sleep. Swapping late-night social media scrolls for a book will always be such a power move in my eyes. Now, in all honesty, is this something I do every night? No, but this is definitely something I thank myself for in the morning after having the best sleep of my life! Therefore, it will always be something I do for myself when I’m needing a little extra self-care.
2. Dry Brushing and CBD Salve
Something I have recently learned is that our lymphatic system loves dry brushing. So, of course, I had to add it to my everyday shower routine. The practice of dry brushing increases blood and lymph flow, which helps the body detox from waste and toxins. The change of season brings all sorts of sickness, so when you dry brush and remove these toxins, it helps to create a stronger immune system.

I love to document my gratitude for all that has happened and all that’s to come. Journaling has been something that has been in my self-care routine for years now.
To take my journaling experience to the next level, I start by making a tea and apply some BLNCD essential oils to the insides of my wrists and the spot behind my ears. This makes the experience special and something I look forward to doing. Journaling doesn’t always have to be about gratitude; I think writing should be an intuitive experience.
