Over 100 different types of cannabinoids are found in the hemp plant, and the two most popular are CBD and THC. These compounds are well known for their therapeutic benefits. Unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive, and using CBD will not make you feel “high.” Many cannabinoids naturally exist in the human body. Cannabinoids are any chemical compound that directly impacts the endocannabinoid system to some level.
CB1 receptors are found primarily in the brain and central nervous system
CB2 receptors are found mostly in the peripheral organs and the cells associated with the immune system

DELTA-9 THC (Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol) is the primary cannabinoid in marijuana plants, accounting for up to 25% of the plant’s weight but it also presents in low concentrations in hemp plants. The Delta-9 THC in our products is 100% hemp-derived.
The high from using THC products can vary a lot from one person to the next. Factors such as dose, tolerance, metabolism, and the strain can all dramatically alter the experience. While under the effects of THC, you may feel euphoria, relaxation, increased motivation, a feeling of wakefulness, giddiness, hunger, or creativity. The THC high can feel very calming and relaxing, but if too much is consumed it can also trigger anxiety and paranoia.
The best way to ensure your experience remains positive is to avoid using too much THC and only use it in a place you feel comfortable and safe. Many people use THC to help stimulate the creative thought process and relax the mind after a stressful day of work.
THC, the psychoactive ingredient in cannabis, is processed in your body differently depending on how you consume it. You’ll feel the effects of THC in different ways depending on how quickly your body absorbs it.
Edibles may generate a buzz that is distinct from smoking. The liver turns THC into a different molecule (11-hydroxy-THC) than the lungs do when you ingest it. That is why ingesting cannabis can be more potent than smoking it. Dosage is still the most important component in determining how you feel. Eating cannabis edibles, on the other hand, may increase the potency of THC even though the dose may be the same.
Each person experiences the effects differently. The effects of THC edibles depend on several factors, including weight, hydration, and food.
Typically, edibles are metabolized in the liver, which turns THC into a more potent compound called 11-hydroxy-THC. The process takes some time, so cannabis edibles are known to kick in 45 minutes to two hours after ingestion.
Cannabis beverages, on the other hand, start to kick in the moment you take a sip. When you take cannabis as a water-soluble liquid, THC absorbs into your bloodstream through the tissue of your mouth, esophagus, and stomach. The result is a quicker onset and a more consistent experience. You don’t have to wait for the drink to be digested to start feeling the effects.
You can always eat more, but you can’t eat less. Do not exceed 1 serving within a 6-hour period until you better understand your preferred dose. If you’re new to THC, we recommend starting with 1⁄2 to 1 gummy.
We recommend drinking half and then waiting. Cannabis beverages kick in the moment you take a sip.
