Soundcheck to Last Call: BLNCD x First Avenue

Some partnerships feel strategic. Others feel inevitable.

BLNCD and Foundry Nation have been named the exclusive THC beverage partners across First Avenue’s iconic venue portfolio for the next two years—marking a meaningful moment at the intersection of music, culture, and modern social rituals.

This partnership spans some of the most legendary independent rooms in the country, including First Avenue, 7th St Entry, Fine Line, Palace Theatre, The Fitzgerald Theater, and Turf Club—with additional offerings at Palace Pub and Depot Tavern.

It’s one of the most significant long-term THC beverage collaborations in live entertainment to date

Beyond the Stage

Live music has always been about connection—between artist and audience, sound and space, moment and memory. As social habits evolve, so do the ways people choose to show up.

This partnership reflects a growing shift toward alcohol-alternative options that feel intentional, elevated, and built for social settings—without disrupting the experience that makes these venues iconic in the first place. BLNCD and Foundry Nation beverages will be thoughtfully integrated into existing bar programs, expanding guest choice while staying true to the culture of each room.

As First Avenue continues to lead with innovation, this collaboration reinforces its role as a tastemaker—not just in music, but in how live experiences evolve.

Familiar Territory

“This partnership feels incredibly full-circle,” says Allison Vaillancourt, Founder and CMO of BLNCD & Foundry Nation. “First Avenue is an independent institution that has shaped music and culture for decades. To partner with them across their iconic venues is not only a milestone for our brands, but a clear signal of where social experiences are headed.”

The collaboration is also grounded in deep industry roots. BLNCD & Foundry Nation partner Beecher Vaillancourt built his career inside the live music world—from promoter and booking manager to owner of the beloved independent venue Foundation Nightclub. That firsthand experience helped shape a partnership designed to complement the venue experience, not compete with it.

“This isn’t about novelty,” Vaillancourt adds. “It’s about staying true to the room and the music, and offering something that fits seamlessly into the culture First Avenue has built.”

What’s Next

Starting in January, a curated selection of BLNCD and Foundry Nation THC beverages will roll out across First Avenue venues, with select collaborative moments to follow throughout the two-year partnership.
